I was born in Milwaukee,Wisconsin in 1967. Moving to Michigan at age 5, I went to public schools in Holly, MI. I obtained my bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from GMI Engineering and Management Institute while working for General Motors and Chrysler. When I graduated I went to work for Ford Motor Company and finished my Masters Degree in Manufacturing Engineering at University of Michigan. I worked for Ford for 20 years, spending a good portion of that time supervising technical training for major new programs. It was then that I first dabbled in course design and teaching and found that I really loved it!
I spent several years teaching agility at night for a couple of the dog training businesses in Michigan.
In 2010, I quit my job at Ford in order to move to Florida and enjoy the warm weather. Since that time I have regularly taught agility seminars in several different locations in Florida.
